About the Web Designer

I ventured into web development 3 years ago when I opened my online wedding favor boutique. In order to maintain the site on my own, I steadily began to teach myself the basics of web design.

In 2007, a catalog from the local university arrived in the mail offering information about a web design certification program. That's when I jumped at the opportunity to expand my horizons and obtain formal web design training.

After a year of in-class instruction, I successfully completed UNLV's Internet Design & Technology Certificate Program.

I enjoy the unlimited creative freedom that comes with running my own shop, so I continue to maintain my online boutique to this day. I am very grateful that it remains profitable and has acted as a launching pad for my new career.

Aside from web development, I love: travel, reading historical fiction, hiking, playing Bingo with my mom, and watching Flight of the Conchords (I'm a huge fan). Otherwise, I cherish the precious moments spent with family, friends, and my little dog, Odie.
